like father, like son

Yesterday when Matt was trying to run out the door he told Todd he couldn't go with him outside because, "I am late, I got to go." Later that day I was trying to get Todd to give me back the checkbook and he refused. I started to count to allow him time to obey and while I was counting he said, "But Mom, I am late. I gotta go."

This morning Todd was already up when Matt was getting into the shower. I came walking down the hall to see my son down on the floor doing what appeared to be push ups. Matt was already in the shower so I just stuck my head in the bathroom and yelled, "You didn't by chance happen to do some push ups this morning?" Sure enough, Todd saw Matt doing push ups and wanted to do them too.

I love it that he does and says everything his dad does. I must admit though it is intimidating realizing that he notices everything we say and do. I love my boys!

HAhahaha! Amy that is hilarious! Mick and I were talking last night about how funny we think Todd is and that we miss him a ton!

It's a good thing that he has two really great examples to follow!
