Most recently at my place of employment, I have enjoyed having my nice plastic venetian blinds open to allow the warm rays of sun to envelope me as I work. However, lately I have noticed that I have become a fish in a fish bowl. Everyone walking in and out of the building looks at me. And what is even more unsettling is that those who take their smoke break right outside my window will stand and just stare, i hope lost in thought. I will begin to feel someone is looking at me and as soon as my gaze falls outside the window, the perpetrator quickly looks away. I guess it's a change of scenery for all those who sit at a desk all day, but I can't decide if it bothers me or not. For now I enjoy the little sunshine that I can get being inside all day.

Amy, so glad you're joining the blogosphere. We miss you guys! Thanks for letting us have a glimpse into your life.
Oh, what I wouldn't give for a window in my office...the only way I know what it's like outside is the little temperature icon I have on my desktop. You're lucky! Enjoy it! =)
Hi Amy. We just moved into our new place, the Former president's home. I have wall to wall windows on two sides, view of the lake, view of Timp and a nice tree for shade, and I'm on the second floor! so far I have been too busy solving all the bugs, computer stuff, sorting of boxes and putting away stuff to really have time to gaze out the window, but I will soon!
You have a very charming smile, so I guess everyone looking in is just enjoying your sunshine!
Toss Toss!
Maybe get something more interesting than you are for them to stare at... if you can think of anything. :-) Some kind of blinking vegas light that says "just keep walking" might get the point across...
